Purpose
Officially, the objectives of Wild Again – as stated in our Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association – are as follows:
- To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, preservation and improvement of the physical and natural environment with particular reference to deforestation and other effects of the release of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and the encouragement of afforestation;
- To promote afforestation for the benefit of the general improvement of land or for the environment and for the provision of public amenity.
The main way these objectives are achieved is by buying environmentally sensitive land and re-establishing forests on that land with indigenous plant species.
Contributors can also elect to support reforestation by helping to fund tree-planting on existing reserves.
